Enrolments

Admission requirements:

  1. curricular: Higher school or other diploma also obtained abroad, recognized as eligible by the Academy in accordance with international agreements and current legislation;
  2. of knowledge and competences: general knowledge, knowledge of art history, of computer basics and basic English;
  3. of aptitude: to figure drawing and also to the practice of restoration for the course in conservation of cultural heritage.

ENROLMENT AND FIRST INSTALLMENT PAYMENT
Registration for the current academic year must be carried out online at this link no later than 30th October including the payment receipts of the first installment and the documents as shown on the registration form.

LATE PAYMENTS
Payments received after the official deadline are subject to a default of 50 euros for each month of delay

Admission Test

It consists of:

  • a qualifying English test (2 CFA);
  • a multiple-choice qualifying test for basic computer (2 CFA);

Failure to pass the above tests commits the student to attend a remedial course and repeat the exam

  • a multiple-choice test in art history and general knowledge;
  • a practical aptitude test of drawing from the real

Failure to pass the aptitude test commits the student to attend a remedial course, and they might not be admitted to the required Bachelor Degree course, if the maximum number of students has already been reached.

  • an aptitude test of the practice of retouching (only for those applying to the special course in conservation of cultural heritage) the failure to pass the aptitude test entails the non-admission to the required course.

PROPEDEUTIC ACTIVITIES FOR REQUIREMENTS RECOVERY:

Preparatory courses to recover access requirements in drawing from the real and art history

PROPEDEUTIC ACTIVITY FOR LEARNING REQUIREMENTS RECOVERY:

Remedial preparatory courses for the achievement of eligibility requirements in English and basic computer science.

For the first registration it is necessary to complete the specific form, submit it to the student secretariat according to the official deadline and pay the due installment of the tuition fee.

For the enrolments in the years after the first it is necessary to complete the specific form, submit it to the student secretariat according to the official deadline and pay the due installment of the tuition fee.

PROVISIONAL REGISTRATION FOR GRADUATE CANDIDATES
Students supposed to discuss their final thesis in the December or February sessions are requested to submit a provisional application to the student secretariat on the occasion of their official request of registration in the schedule of the thesis session.

ATTENDANCE AS AUDITORS

The Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata allows participation in the theoretical and practical lessons of one or more subject courses including all related discussion and educational initiatives such as forums, seminars and workshops.

It is stated for reference that the auditor path does not offer any certification.

Internships

In order to facilitate the professional experience of students, the Academy of Fine Arts of Macerata provides - within the study plans - for the activity of internships to be carried out at external partners or companies offering to host interns.

Before starting any internships, it is essential to fill out a form for the training project including start and end dates, learning outcomes to be achieved through the activity carried out.

This is necessary to forward the necessary communications to the provincial Labor Inspector and to ensure protection for accidents at work (INAIL).

The intern/trainee shall be followed by a tutor assigned by the host company and a tutor appointed by the Academy in charge to certify the trainee’s presence at the hosting Company/Institution and the learning outcomes.

Before starting any internships, it is essential to fill out in two copies the forms concerning the training project including start and end dates, learning outcomes to be achieved through to the activity carried out.
